Past Grade 6 Members can continue to keep active, have fun and stay connected with this new, reduced fee membership!
A continuation of the Calgary Flames Grade 6 YMCA program, the Step Up membership provides past members of the grade 6 program with accessible pricing that will be offered till a youth turns 18, ensuring they always have the YMCA and its community available to help them belong, grow and thrive.
This reduced fee program of $25/month is available to graduates of the Grade 6 program once the 13-month free membership ends, and provides a savings of $15 a month plus additional benefits like:
- Free events and activities throughout the year
- Discounts on registered programs and services
- Ongoing discounted membership till age 18
- Access to all YMCA’s across Calgary
- …and so much more!
Step Up Registration takes place August 1, 2024 until October 31, 2024 and is available to past Grade 6 students of the last school year only.

Celebrate connection, friendship, healthy living and fun with us at one of our summer events. You'll get to choose one event - from a half day at Camp Riveredge, a movie night in our theatres, or an art class in our art studios.
The Step Up Summer Events are offered for YMCA Calgary members between the ages of 12-14 who are Calgary Flames Grade 6 Alumni.
