How to Register

This year registration will be over the phone. Please register by 11:59pm November 3rd, 2024.

Please follow the steps below to sign up:

  • Read through the workshops and select your top three sessions for each timeslot. 
  • Call 403-351-5262 between the following times to speak with our registration team: 
    • Monday-Thursday 11:30-7:30pm; 
    • Friday - 11:00-7:30pm; 
    • Saturday-Sunday/Stat Holidays- 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Confirm registration details (name, branch, etc.) and process payment if required.  
  • Select one session for each time slot only. If your top choice is full, please register for your 2nd choice or 3rd choice.  
  • You will receive an email confirmation of your sessions following registration. 
    • Please keep this email confirmation as proof of registration for each session during the conference weekend.

For consistency and simplicity, all registrations will be processed over the phone with our Engagement Centre team during the times listed above. Customer Service staff, Supervisors and Coordinators will not be able to register on your behalf. Space is limited so please register early to reserve your spot!

We are unable to accommodate partial registration and expect that instructors will attend the whole event. This allows us to properly plan meals and conference materials. You won’t be disappointed! 

Yes! We are pleased to provide catered lunches on both Saturday and Sunday as part of your full conference registration, in recognition of the amazing work you do for our communities! Limited gluten-free and dairy free options are available. We are unable to accommodate additional dietary restrictions. Please specify when registering is you plan to join us for lunch or provide your own meals.

No. All conference sessions will be held in-person at the Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton.

Yes! YMCA & Fitness Alberta Continuing Education Credits are awarded for attendance/participation at the conference. Instructors are required to accumulate 20 YMCA CEC's over 3 years / 12 Fitness Alberta CEC's over two years for recertification. 

You will receive 10 YMCA CEC's and up to 10 (estimated) Fitness Alberta CEC's for this conference. Remember to check-in at each session to ensure you are counted!

YMCA CEC Letters will be delivered post-conference via Supervisors of your home branch. Attendees with Fitness Alberta certification that attend the full conference will be provided a CEC approval code that can be used when recertifying. Participants external to YMCA Calgary will receive CEC confirmation via email.

You can call the Engagement Centre to cancel or change sessions prior to registration close on Nov 3rd. If your circumstances change, please let us know ASAP so someone else can take your spot!

Yes! We are pleased to welcome fitness instructors from outside of the YMCA where space is available. Registration for instructors external the YMCA opens on October 21st. Register early to reserve your spot!
