YMCA Calgary is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors. Through their dedication to community service, commitment to youth development, and passion for fostering wellness, we know these new additions to our governance team will help YMCA Calgary’s mission of creating spaces and communities that are welcoming and inspiring.
Joining our Board of Directors in May 2024 are:
Neil Badyk – Neil is a partner in KPMG’s audit and assurance practice with 14 years of experience focusing on clients in the energy, financial services, and technology sectors.
Sabrina Beauchamp - Sabrina is Vice President, Treasurer and Risk Management at Nutrien. Sabrina joined Nutrien in 2018 and has held roles such as Vice President, Strategic Finance & FP&A, and Senior Advisor to the CEO.
Van Le – Van is the Chief Operating Officer for Siksika Nation Tribal Administration, which she joined in 2021. Van has held various roles such as Controller, Senior Accountant and Joint Venture Accountant over her career and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Flying Dust First Nation, which she joined in 2023.
Michele Whelan – Michele is Head of People and Culture for ATCO’s Energy Transition business, ATCO EnPower. She joined ATCO in 2018 where she led Human Resources for ATCO’s Natural Gas and Electric Utilities and currently sits as Board President for Calalta Figure Skating Club and was a past Director for 10 years.
