Cochrane and Rocky View County advance recreation service review with YMCA Calgary
We can confirm that we are currently in discussions with the Town of Cochrane and Rocky View County about operating the SLS Centre and Cochrane Arena, to bring YMCA experiences to the community. While the final terms and agreement are still in development, we are excited about the possibilities. If an agreement is reached, YMCA Calgary is committed to a smooth and stable transition that honours the key role this facility plays in the community.
We are currently focused on understanding priorities and planning for a transition that minimizes disruptions for staff, members, and partners. YMCA Calgary will continue to support the Town of Cochrane and Rocky View County in this process and will provide updates on key milestones as they are reached.
